Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Seresafari Africa guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha. Famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, the park offers exceptional wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 550 recorded bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, drive to the beautiful town of Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's greatest natural wonders. Descend 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive across its diverse landscapes of open grasslands, forests, lakes, and swamps. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Arrive in the afternoon for an en-route game drive as you make your way to your lodge or camp, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
