Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00am and then drive three hours to Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy a full day of game drives. Later, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2800 square kilometers. Wild animals gather to drink water from the Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name. The park's major attractions include a large population of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, and other wildlife species.

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will set off on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti, enjoying lunch in the vehicle. Along the way, take in stunning Rift Valley vistas and catch glimpses of the Ngorongoro Crater before arriving in the Serengeti around 3:00 PM. An evening game drive in the central Serengeti offers the perfect chance to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your camp.

The Serengeti is famed for its endless plains and the Great Migration, involving 1.5 million herbivores and their predators. Wildlife roams widely across the park, and your driver-guide will ensure you see part of this spectacular migration. Expect to spot vast herds of wildebeest, alongside zebras, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, eland, and impala.

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will begin a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Your driver-guide will navigate key areas and track the Great Migration, where around 1.5 million animals move in search of fresh grazing and water. The migration’s timing varies, with the best viewing from June to September. Wildebeest calving occurs from January to March, and between July and September, you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossings. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

You will rise at 5:45 AM for breakfast, enjoying the sunrise over the park before setting out on a morning game drive until 11:30 AM. Return to the camp for a hot lunch, then pack your vehicle and continue on a game drive en route to your next campsite along the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Ngorongoro Crater

After waking around 5:30 AM and enjoying breakfast, you will descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you may encounter the “Big Five," black rhinos, and a variety of bird species. Lunch will be served on the crater floor, surrounded by flamingos at the nearby lake. Following 6–7 hours of game driving, you will begin your ascent, stop at the campsite to collect your luggage, and then transfer back to Arusha for your overnight stay.
