You will start your trip with a pick up by our driver guide from your hotel. Then, you will drive through the roads of Kampala heading West to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is approximately 6-7 hours. You will drive through the Western route of Fort Portal where you will make a stop over for lunch as you reach the city, and proceed to the park just 2 hours from fort portal reaching early evening.
You will check in at your lodge and head for an evening game drive(optional) to view some of the game animals when they are active in hunt for food in the evening like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many others. You then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Morning game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

On this day, you will wake up early morning by 6:30 am for an early morning game drive when wildlife are still active hunting for food in the park, you will see animals like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, hippos, leopards, hyenas and others and Later return to the lodge for relaxation and a full morning breakfast with the view of kazinga channel. A visit to Lake Katwe Cultural Mining Centre an excellent cultural experience that gives visitors a chance to learn about the traditional salt mining activities that have supported the local community for generations.
Interaction with local salt miners, Learn about the volcanic history and Photography and scenic views. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel in the evening will offer you one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Uganda. Prepare to see countless hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, water birds and many of the other animals drinking from the
Channel banks.

Day 3
Transfer to kampala via the Equator kayebwa
Transfer to kampala via the Equator kayebwa
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and begin your journey from Queen Elizabeth back to Kampala. The drive takes you through the scenic countryside of western Uganda, passing through Bushenyi and Mbarara, with beautiful views of the rolling hills, farmlands, and local communities along the way. As you continue the journey, you will pass through tea plantations and agricultural landscapes. There will be opportunities for photography and enjoying the peaceful countryside before proceeding to Mbarara City, where you will stop for lunch and some relaxation.
After lunch, you will continue towards Kayabwe for a stop at the Equator crossing point. Here, you will have time to take photographs, explore souvenir shops, and enjoy the unique experience of standing at the equator. Proceed to Kampala, where you will arrive in the evening. This marks the end of your Queen Elizabeth safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wildlife.
