Your safari begins with a 7:00 AM hotel pickup in Nairobi, followed by a brief orientation and group meet-up. By 8:30 AM, you’ll be on the road toward the Masai Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some incredible photos.

You’ll arrive at your lodge around 1:30 PM for lunch and a short rest before heading out for a 4:00 PM game drive. Keep your camera ready as you search for the "Big Five" and other iconic wildlife. The day winds down with dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at your camp.

Day 2

Get ready for an action-packed day. After an early breakfast, grab your picnic lunch and head into the heart of the Masai Mara. The morning light is perfect for catching the herds at their most active, and you might even witness a classic savanna sunrise.

Spend the day tracking the "Big Five" alongside cheetahs, giraffes, and hyenas. Around midday, you’ll break for a picnic lunch right in the bush. If you're visiting between July and September, the afternoon may include a stop at the Mara River to watch the dramatic migration crossings. You'll head back to the lodge by evening to share stories over dinner and settle in for the night.

Day 3

Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village for around $20 (payable directly). It’s a great chance to see their beadwork, watch traditional dances, and learn how the community lives in harmony with the local wildlife.

You’ll head out around 9:00 AM, driving toward Nakuru by way of Naivasha. After lunch on the road, you can choose to take an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha for about $20—just let your guide know in advance if you're interested. Otherwise, you’ll continue to Nakuru, arriving around 5:30 PM for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru - Nairobi

Start your final day with a 7:00 AM breakfast before heading into Lake Nakuru National Park. This renowned sanctuary is one of the best places in Kenya to spot endangered black and white rhinos, as well as the rare Rothschild giraffe, waterbucks, and predators like lions and leopards.

The park is a birder's paradise, home to massive colonies of pelicans, cormorants, and seasonal clusters of flamingos. For the best view in the park, you’ll drive up to Baboon Cliff for a panoramic look at the lake and the dramatic Rift Valley landscape. At 11:00 AM, you’ll begin the journey back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way and arriving in the city by approximately 4:00 PM to conclude your safari.
