Journey to Ruaha and Isimila Visit via Dodoma

Your journey begins early morning with a pick-up from your hotel or accommodation and transfer to the train station to catch the 6:00 AM train to Dodoma. Enjoy a relaxing ride through Tanzania’s countryside, arriving in Dodoma where you will have a late breakfast. Afterward, continue your scenic drive toward Ruaha, passing through beautiful landscapes of the southern highlands. You will stop for lunch at Iringa Sunset Hotel before visiting the remarkable Isimila Stone Age Site. Here, explore ancient stone tools and towering natural pillars that tell stories of early human life. Later, proceed to Ruaha National Park and arrive at your bandas for check-in, dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, continue with another game drive, exploring new areas of the park and enjoying more wildlife sightings and stunning landscapes. As the sun sets over the savannah, head back to your accommodation. Dinner will be served, followed by a relaxing evening and overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Morning Game Drive and Return to Dar es Salaam

Start your final day with an early morning game drive in Ruaha National Park, a perfect time to witness the park as it comes alive with fresh energy. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and begin your journey back. You will stop again at Iringa Sunset Hotel for lunch before continuing to Dodoma. Upon arrival, you will catch the evening train departing at 5:15 PM back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, our professional driver will meet you and transfer you safely to your preferred location, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
