Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

You will meet and greet our representative at the airport/hotel in the morning in Nairobi.
After briefing, proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve through the great rift valley with occasional stops to observe nature. Our driver can stop on your request to buy something on the road.
Upon arrival into Maasai Mara, you will have a warm welcome to your camp for check in and lunch.
Later proceed for your afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve.
The reserve is considered as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and attendant predators.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at the camp, depart for morning and afternoon game-viewing drives, or opt for a full-day game-viewing drive in the reserve with packed lunches on board. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey.

For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded. These include 16 species of eagle plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustard (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
