Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

In the morning meet up with your driver guide and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the largest park in Uganda. It’s unique from others because of its thunderous Murchison falls. You will have breakfast en route at Amuka lodge, thereafter track Rhinos on foot in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, have lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National
Park. You will reach the park in the evening, check in at the lodge, refresh for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2

Wake up very early, have a quick cup of coffee and go for morning game drive. Your driver guide will take you to the thrilling
adventures and discovery to see the finest wildlife species such as lions, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants, jackson hartebeests, bushbucks, warthogs, giraffes all grazing and waiting for preys in the open savannah grassland, primates such as olive baboons, black and white monkeys, colobus monkeys.
After this activity you will return to the lodge, have lunch and go for 2pm boat cruise to top of the falls. Here you will be able to have an up-close encounter with school of hippos, crocodiles at the banks of the river, water bird species,
Nyamusika cliff and above all, you will have a clear view of the thunderous Murchison falls as it flows into the Nile River.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale Forest

Transfer to Kibale Forest

Have breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kibale Forest, enjoy a scenic drive of the gorgeous countryside which makes the journey more exciting. Have your lunch en route in Fort Portal town and continue with beautiful views of tea plantations and the Rwenzori ranges. Check in at your lodge, refresh and you could go for an evening guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland which is home to various birds and primate species. Later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

Wake up so early for breakfast and drive to the park for chimpanzee tracking activity,
where you will meet up with your little cousins who share 98% DNA with human beings. The activity starts with briefing and at 8am you are led into the forest park to search for the noisy cheerful primates, however along you will be able to spot other primate species such as red-tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, owl faces monkeys, grey cheeked monkeys and many others. When you finally find the chimpanzees, spend an hour with them observing how they go about their day, feeding, making nests, playing cheerfully and later return back to your starting point and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5

Enjoy your breakfast and set out for a game drive through the Kasenyi track and other tracks where you have a chance to observe different wildlife species like lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes and if lucky enough leopards together with amazing beautiful bird species. Queen Elizabeth has a diversity of Uganda’s ecosystems such as the Savannah, wetlands, lakes, forests and over 600 bird species which live in the park. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel; this is one of the most memorable experiences from the park.

Day 6

Nature Walk and Chimpanzee tracking

On this day after breakfast, you will go for a guided nature walk in Maramagambo forest with the hope to see reptiles, bat caves, several bird species and so much more. You will also track chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge, and see other primates. Head back to the lodge have lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive through the park.

Day 7

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector as you will have a chance to observe tree-climbing lions in the wild. Bwindi National Park is famous for its endangered mountain gorillas, endemics bird species among others. The Park covers an average area of 331 sq. km thus divided in four tracking sectors where you be able to track the gorillas in any sector of your choice. Have lunch en route and continue with your journey combined with amazing and spectacular views of homesteads, and the overall green vegetation of the area. On reaching the park check in at lodge of preference. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Gorilla tracking and community walk - Bwindi

Gorilla tracking and community walk - Bwindi

You will have early morning heavy breakfast at the lodge and head to the park quarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the park with gorillas. After, head for gorilla trekking through the mist rain forest: trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours and this is based on the location of the gentle giants. Only 1 hour is permitted to trekkers while with the gorillas. Make sure you carry packed lunch, enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, walking sticks for support. Later return to the lodge and relax. In the evening, go for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that once lived in the forest for many years before. After eviction enjoy traditional dances from them. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will have breakfast at leisure and check out of the lodge to Lake Bunyonyi. You will take a boat ride from Isheshero land site as you tour the prominent 29 islands on the lake, meet up with your driver guide on the other side and go for lunch at the lodge, relax from the cool breeze, take a nature walk to the top of the hill where you will see an aerial view of the lake.

Day 10

Transfer to entebbe

Transfer to entebbe

As you come to the end of this adventurous safari, you will have breakfast and drive back to Kampala, through the rolling hills of Kigezi, farms, banana plantations. Have lunch en route in Mbarara and proceed with a stopover at the Equator for photography and experiments. Your next stop will be at the entebbe airport for departure.
