Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos. Descend the escarpment and head toward the Mara, arriving at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for lunch. After settling into your tent, embark on an introductory late afternoon game drive. This is your first chance to spot elephants, giraffes, and zebras against the backdrop of a golden sunset. Return to the camp for a hot dinner and a relaxing evening by the fire.

Full Day Game Viewing

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll venture deep into the park to track the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. Depending on the season, you may head toward the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. The reserve’s open grasslands provide excellent opportunities for spotting cheetahs and the great wildebeest migration. Return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight rest.

Start the day with an early breakfast followed by an optional visit to a Maasai Village (at an extra cost). You will stop for lunch in Narok town before arriving in the city by late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
