Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, where clients will be picked up from their hotel within the city or required to make their own way to a designated meeting point communicated in advance, as airport transfers are not included; the journey continues through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos before descending the escarpment and heading toward the Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for lunch, after which you’ll settle into your tent and head out for an introductory late afternoon game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, and zebras against the golden sunset, before returning to camp for a hot dinner and a relaxing evening by the fire.

Full Day Game Viewing

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll venture deep into the park to track the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. Depending on the season, you may head toward the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. The reserve’s open grasslands provide excellent opportunities for spotting cheetahs and the great wildebeest migration. Return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight rest.

Cultural Experience & Return to Nairobi

Start the day with an early breakfast followed by an optional visit to a Maasai Village (at an extra cost). Immerse yourself in the local culture, learn about traditional fire-making, and join in the famous rhythmic dances. Afterward, begin your journey back to Nairobi. You will stop for lunch (Extra cost) in Narok town before arriving in the city by late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
