Day 1

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the Maasai steppe. Upon arrival, you will begin a late morning game drive in this lush park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. After lunch, continue exploring as you look out for baboons, hippos, and giraffes. In the late afternoon, transfer to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at Siafu Serenity Lodge or a similar accommodation.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the beautiful highlands. Along the way, you may visit a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge. As you enter the Serengeti, enjoy a game drive across the endless plains, home to the Great Migration and abundant wildlife. Later, transfer to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay at ThornTree Camp or a similar accommodation.

After breakfast, you will set out for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park. With packed lunches, you will have more time to witness the incredible wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. The vast plains offer endless opportunities for unforgettable sightings. In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called “Africa’s Eden.” Enjoy a game drive with packed lunch while spotting a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, lions, and hyenas. After lunch, ascend the crater and continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge or similar accommodation.
