Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional driver-guide. If time allows, enjoy a brief Kigali city tour including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

After lunch, drive towards to Volcanoes National Park, a scenic journey through Rwanda’s rolling hills.

Day 2

Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Bwindi (Rushaga Sector)

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on golden monkey tracking. These charming primates are known for their playful nature and vibrant golden coats, making for an exciting and photogenic experience.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and then proceed to cross into Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border. Continue to the Rushaga sector in southern Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi (Rushaga Sector)

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi (Rushaga Sector)

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then be assigned a gorilla family in the Rushaga sector.

The trek takes you deep into the ancient rainforest, ranging from 2 to 7 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once located, you will spend one incredible hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat—an experience that stays with you forever.

Return to your lodge for relaxation and reflection on the day’s adventure.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kigali, crossing back into Rwanda. Enjoy scenic views along the way and optional stops for crafts or photography.
