Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest national park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab-studded landscapes.

As you enter the park, sweeping plains and towering baobab trees set the scene while wildlife moves freely across the savannah. Most animals gather around the Tarangire River—the park’s only permanent water source—making it one of the best areas in the region for game viewing. You may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants that can number in the thousands. Birdlife is equally impressive, with over 300 recorded species adding color and sound to the experience.

After your game drive, you will head to your lodge located just outside the park, where you can relax and unwind for the evening.
