3-Day Ruaha NP Safari by Flight from Dar Es Salaam

Fly from Dar es salaam to Iringa then Transfer Ruaha National Park

In the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam to the airport for your scheduled flight to Iringa Airport. Enjoy scenic views as you fly over Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon arrival in Iringa, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to Ruaha National Park, a journey that offers beautiful views of the countryside. On arrival, you will check in at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge and enjoy your lunch while relaxing in the natural surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will head out for a game drive until sunset. This is a great time to see animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions as they become more active in the cooler hours. After the game drive, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch box for a full-day game drive in the park. Ruaha offers a true wilderness experience with fewer crowds and a wide variety of wildlife. You will explore different parts of the park, including areas near the river where animals gather to drink. Around midday, you will stop at a safe and scenic spot to enjoy your picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue with your game drive until sunset, giving you more chances to spot predators like lions and other wildlife. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Ruaha – Iringa – Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, you will check out from the camp and begin your drive back to Iringa Town. Along the way, enjoy the scenic landscapes as you leave the park. You will stop for lunch at the famous Iringa Sunset viewpoint, where you can enjoy your meal with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. After lunch, continue to Iringa Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel, airport, or any place of your choice.
