Along the way, experience the raw beauty and unique geological formations of one of the hottest regions on Earth. Arrive in Ahmed Ella in the afternoon and continue to Lake Asale, where you can enjoy a magical sunset and a refreshing swim in a natural salt pool surrounded by surreal desert scenery. End the day with a peaceful overnight stay at a comfortable desert camping site under the stars, fully immersed in the silence and beauty of the Danakil region.

Dallol

Early morning drive to Dallol to explore colorful mineral formations and volcanic landscapes below sea level. Visit Ragad salt mining area. Return to Ahmed Ella for lunch, then continue to Erta Ale. Evening trek to the crater rim to witness the glowing lava lake. Overnight camping.
