Nairobi – Great Rift valley-Maasai Mara

Our driver/guide reports to your hotel or Nairobi home for the start of the safari, with an early departure-6:30 AM for a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley, onwards to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. (Drive time 5-6 hours). Stop briefly at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of what is the world’s largest Valley, said to be even visible from space. Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. The evening game drive from 4 PM will allow you to spot the magnificent wildlife in the park, ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Exit the park gate by 6 PM and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Goodbyes are never easy, especially from a place as special as Kenya's Masai Mara, but following a hearty breakfast, it is time to head to Nairobi by road for future travel plans. Whether this means it is time to head home or on to your next destination, Africa has a way of working itself into your heart, and we do not doubt you will be back for another sensational safari. It's not goodbye, it's see you again soon. Depending on your travel plans, drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
