An early morning departure takes you to Aberdare National Park, with a scenic drive through Kenya’s central highlands. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of rolling tea fields and lush coffee plantations that define this fertile region. A stop is made at Karatina Market, one of the largest open-air markets in East Africa, where you can experience vibrant local trade and culture.
You then continue your journey into the misty forests of Aberdare National Park, a haven of rich biodiversity. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks, and different species of monkeys such as colobus and baboons. Rare and elusive animals like the bongo, giant forest hog, serval cat, African wild cat, civet, and blue duiker also inhabit these dense forests. As you travel south, you will reflect on the memorable safari experiences and diverse wildlife encounters enjoyed throughout the trip. You are expected to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, around 5:00 pm, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
