Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will be collected from your accommodation in Arusha by our safari guide. After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park across gently rolling Masai plains with scattered acacia trees. Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, but it is also home to a multitude of other wildlife. The Tarangire River attracts a wide range of wildlife, especially during the dry season, making it an excellent location for game viewing. From the open pop-up roof of our safari jeep, expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. We may glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a designated site, surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, continue with a game drive en route to your lodge for dinner and overnight, passing through scenic landscapes, local villages, and the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Ngorongoro Crater

Rise early for breakfast before descending approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. The crater floor is a natural wildlife haven, home to one of the highest animal densities in Africa. Throughout the day, you will explore diverse habitats including grasslands, swamps, forests, and a soda lake. Keep an eye out for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino—as well as hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and hippos. Your guide will take you to prime wildlife-viewing areas and share insights into the ecosystem and animal behaviour. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot such as the hippo pool. In the late afternoon, ascend back to the crater rim and start your journey back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arusha to Nungwi, Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Zanzibar Island, bidding farewell to your safari guide and Arusha city. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your beach resort on the north coast (Nungwi). This large village at Zanzibar Island's northernmost tip was once best known as a dhow-building centre. Today, it's a major tourist destination, thanks in part to the beautiful beach and stunning sunsets. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
