Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing and then drive to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch at your lodge, followed by afternoon game drives. Spend the next two nights at the lodge, booked on a full board basis.

Have breakfast at your lodge, followed by a full day in Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay. Samburu boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including rare northern species such as the gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich, and is also home to several large predators, including cheetahs, lions, and leopards. You also have the chance to spot 450 different bird species, including the lesser kestrel and the Taita falcon.

Have breakfast at your lodge, check out, and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge overlooking Lake Nakuru and its surrounding national park. Lake Nakuru is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. The afternoon will be spent at your leisure, with a game drive in the park later in the evening, followed by a return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The full day will be spent in the Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Elephants and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands, impalas and Thomson’s gazelles can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. The Mara is, in fact, the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and plays host to vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the months of July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland, and many small mammals create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You will spend a full day in the park on game drives. You may have a picnic lunch while on the game drive or return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya and is known for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramic views of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by the vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Have breakfast at your lodge and check out, followed by a visit to a Maasai village, where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people. This experience offers the opportunity to engage in traditional singing and dancing, allowing you to connect with the community and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life.
Depart for Nairobi, arriving in time for a farewell lunch. Later, your driver-guide will ensure you are dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport in time for your flight back home.
