Nairobi to Masai mara National Reserve

You will depart Nairobi early in the morning and begin your journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will make a stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can admire the breathtaking escarpment and take photos of the vast landscape below.

You will arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, where you can relax and prepare for the afternoon adventure ahead.

In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting game drive across the vast savannah in search of Africa’s incredible wildlife. The Masai Mara is home to a wide variety of animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other species roaming freely in their natural habitat.

As the sun sets, you will return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness after a rewarding first day on safari.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy a full-day game drive in the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most outstanding safari destinations. After breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch to explore the vast savannah plains, rolling hills, and riverine woodlands in search of incredible wildlife. The Mara is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as countless other species including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, hyenas, and hippos.

Throughout the day, you will follow animal tracks and enjoy close encounters with wildlife in their natural environment, guided by experienced safari drivers who know the best viewing spots. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains.

Later in the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation after an unforgettable safari experience.

You will begin the day with an early morning drive in the park, taking advantage of the cool hours when wildlife is most active for additional game viewing. After the safari experience, you will return to your lodge or camp for breakfast and complete the check-out process.

Following breakfast, you will start your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying scenic views of the countryside along the way. Depending on your schedule, you will be dropped off either at your hotel, the airport, or your preferred location, marking the end of your safari experience with lasting memories of wildlife, landscapes, and adventure.
