Afternoon: Scenic transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda).
Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its ancient forest with tree species found nowhere else. It is the only park in Uganda where chimpanzees and mountain gorillas coexist in the same ecosystem.
A recent census recorded a healthy population of chimpanzees, so there’s a possibility of spotting them along the trail.
Optional Cultural Experience: Visit the Batwa community. The Batwa are indigenous forest people who for generations survived by gathering fruits, herbs, wild honey, and living in harmony with the forest. After being relocated for gorilla conservation, their way of life changed dramatically. Today, they share their traditions, dances, and stories, offering visitors a glimpse into their resilience and heritage.

Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The park is divided into different tracking sectors, each offering unique encounters with gorilla families.
Over the years, Bwindi has achieved remarkable conservation success. The number of gorilla babies being born has steadily increased, boosting gorilla tourism and strengthening the park’s role in global wildlife preservation.
