Masai Mara National Reserve
An early morning drive takes you to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the few places on Earth where wildlife still thrives in large, relatively undisturbed numbers, as it once did across Africa’s plains and forests. As the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife, and it is one of the few places where the Big Five can often be spotted during a single morning drive. Cheetahs here are notably relaxed, sometimes resting in the shade beneath safari vehicles or even climbing onto the roof for a better view of prey. For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards—such as the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird—and a variety of sunbirds.
