From Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth NP

Your adventure will start with a pick up by our driver company taking you through the journey to west of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's most popular savannah national park. The scenic drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, passing through the districts of Mityana, Mubende, Kyegegwa, Kyenjojo, and Fort Portal, where you will enjoy spectacular views of tea plantations, crater lakes, rolling hills, and the majestic Rwenzori Mountains.

Stop for lunch en route will be made before continuing to the park. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and check in to your lodge for relaxation. If time allows depending on your arrival, head out for an optional evening game drive, offering your first opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and, if you're lucky, lions or leopards.

Return to your lodge as the sun sets over the savannah for dinner and an overnight stay, ready for more exciting wildlife experiences in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2

Game Drive kasenyi & Boat Ride Kazinga Channel

After an early breakfast, set out for a thrilling morning game drive through the Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the wildlife-rich Kasenyi Plains. As the park comes to life, look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, and, if you're fortunate, the elusive leopard. The park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 600 bird species recorded.

Return to your lodge for lunch and a short time to relax before heading out for an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, the natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. The cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing, with large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds gathering along the shoreline.

After the boat safari, return to your lodge and spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.

Day 3

In the morning after enjoying breakfast, enjoy a scenic transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This route offers a picturesque drive through the heart of Uganda’s wildlife-rich landscapes, with the chance to spot iconic animals like elephants, buffaloes, and the rare tree-climbing lions of Ishasha. The road winds through lush forests and rolling hills, providing a serene and immersive experience of Uganda’s natural beauty.

Arriving in Bwindi, you'll be greeted by its dense, mist-covered rainforest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. You will arrive in the afternoon and visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience.

After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on an exciting journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a detailed briefing at the park headquarters on trekking guidelines. Accompanied by an experienced guide and rangers venture into the lush, dense jungle to track the majestic mountain gorillas. The trek may take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements.

Once you locate these extraordinary creatures, relish the rare opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek you will receive your gorilla certificates as an evidence for gorilla trek and for life time memories. Continue to your lodge for check out ready for a short scenic drive of 2-3 hours to Lake Bunyonyi, where a serene sunset boat cruise awaits to cap off your day in style. Arrival in time for lunch and relaxation, enjoy some activities by lake in the evening dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Depart from Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala

Depart from Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala

Wake up to the tranquil beauty of Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy breakfast overlooking its scenic islands and terraced hills. Afterwards, take part in a relaxing morning activity, such as a guided canoe ride, boat cruise to explore some of the lake's picturesque islands, kayaking, birdwatching, or a guided community walk to experience the local culture and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.

Later, check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala, a drive of approximately 7–8 hours through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands and southwestern Uganda. Stop en route for lunch and continue to the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe, where you can take memorable photographs, shop for locally made souvenirs, and participate in the famous water experiment demonstrating the meeting point of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Continue with your journey to Kampala, arriving in the evening You will be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
