Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam, driving դեպի Mikumi National Park through scenic landscapes and local villages. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an exciting evening game drive. Mikumi is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and lions. The Mkata Floodplain offers excellent game viewing and is often compared to the Serengeti plains. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Full game drive & evening visit maasai

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Explore different areas of the park and increase your chances of spotting predators such as lions and hyenas, as well as large herds of herbivores. Your guide will help you track animals and share insights about their behavior and the ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with the afternoon game drive. In the evening, visit a local Maasai village where you will learn about their traditions, culture, and daily life. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
