Day 1

Your journey begins in the early hours of the morning, with a 3:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Kigali, followed by a scenic transfer to either Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, you will be briefed and accompanied by experienced ranger guides who will lead you through dense forests, winding trails, and breathtaking landscapes, while sharing valuable insights into the ecosystem and its wildlife.

The trek typically lasts between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. As you move deeper into the forest, anticipation builds until you come face-to-face with the magnificent mountain gorillas. You will spend one unforgettable hour observing them at close range as they interact, feed, and display their natural behaviors—a truly humbling and extraordinary experience.

After the trek, you will return for lunch before beginning your journey back to Kigali, concluding a remarkable day in the wild.
