You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Kigali by your professional guide and begin the scenic drive to Musanze, home to Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of Rwanda's rolling hills and rural countryside. Upon arrival in Musanze, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Your guide will provide a briefing about the next day's gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and spend the night in preparation for an early start the following morning.

Visiting Golden Gorrilas and coming back to Kigali

You will be picked from your Hotel in Musanze from 6 am after your breakfat. Arrive by 7 am to attend a pre-tracking briefing. You will then be allocated the gorilla group and enter the forest by 8:30 am in search of the gorillas. The tracking will take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the movement of these apes. After spending an hour in the presence of the gorillas, you will return to the starting point where your driver will transfer you to Kigali to arrive early in the evening.
