Day 1

Your safari begins with a warm welcome in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub nestled at the base of Mount Meru. After a short briefing, you’ll set off on a scenic drive southwest toward Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours through vibrant local villages and rolling countryside.

Upon entry, enjoy an exciting game drive through vast savannah dotted with iconic baobab trees. The park is famous for large elephant herds and offers chances to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and diverse birdlife. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife, making it a prime viewing area, especially in the dry season. After your afternoon game drive, exit the park and proceed to Karatu in the lush Ngorongoro Highlands. Check in at Karatu Hando Coffee Lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner in a peaceful coffee plantation setting.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart from Karatu and journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the highlands and, weather permitting, a glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue across the vast plains as you enter Serengeti National Park, where the landscape opens into endless savannah.

Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Arrive at your camp or lodge in the afternoon and settle in for dinner and relaxation. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, a prime time to witness predators such as lions and cheetahs as they return from a night of hunting. The golden light of sunrise offers excellent photography opportunities and a chance to see a wide range of wildlife across the open plains.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a final game drive en route as you exit the Serengeti. Traverse the scenic highlands with sweeping views before descending toward Karatu. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge for dinner and relaxation. An optional stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience is available at an extra cost.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive on the crater floor, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. Look out for the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as hippos, flamingos, and large herds of plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool surrounded by stunning scenery.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. An optional cultural visit or short stop in a local market can be arranged at an extra cost.
