You will spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with a flexible schedule and no mileage limits, allowing for a deep and unhurried safari experience. As you drive over the hills, the landscape opens into an immense stretch of savannah that seems to go on forever.

“Serengeti” comes from Kiswahili and means “endless plains.” This vast ecosystem covers about 18,000 sq. km and hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including over a million wildebeest, vast herds of zebras, and large numbers of Thomson’s gazelles.

Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas follow these migrating herds across the plains. The region is also rich in smaller wildlife like baboons, monkeys, jackals, mongooses, bat-eared foxes, hyraxes, honey badgers, and hares, alongside nearly 500 bird species. The day ends with a relaxed afternoon game drive en route to your lodge.
