An early start sees you transferred across the Kazungula border into Botswana. Your Chobe National Park experience begins on the water with a mid-morning boat cruise soon after teas and coffees from the launch site. This is the premier way to see Chobe’s famous swimming elephants and massive pods of hippos. The boat tour would traverse these wildlife infested waters for nearly two and half hours before you head our for your delicius lunch. After a buffet lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. Chobe boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa; look out for lions, leopards, and the rare Puku antelope. Day 3
The Elephant Sands Sanctuary
The Elephant Sands Sanctuary
Wake up to the smell of woodsmoke and a fresh bush breakfast before transferring via the Kasane town to Elephant Sands. This private conservancy is famous for its unique unfiltered elephant encounters. The lodge is built around a natural waterhole that serves as a vital life source for the region's bulls.
Optional Activity: In the afternoon, you may choose to join an optional game drive within the Elephant Sands conservancy. This is an excellent opportunity to track the desert-adapted wildlife that thrives in this harsher terrain, including wild dogs, cheetahs, and various antelope species, away from the busier national park tracks.

Desert Adventures & The Meerkats of Gweta
Optional Morning Activity: Before we depart Elephant Sands, you have the morning free for an optional horse-riding safari or a guided game walk. These silent, non-motorised activities allow you to appreciate the smaller details of the bush, tracking footprints in the sand and observing the flora up close.
Later, we journey to Gweta Lodge, the gateway to the Great Salt Pans. In the afternoon, we venture onto the Ntwetwe Pans, part of one of the largest salt flats in the world. Here, you will spend time with habituated meerkats. Watching these sentinel-like creatures emerge from their burrows and go about their foraging is a highlight of the trip. Today you will be transferred to Island Safari Lodge, a tranquil retreat on the Thamalakane River of Maun. Later optionally go for a helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta; witness a complex tapestry of channels, palm-studded islands, and game trails carved by generations of elephants. The following day embark to the river’s edge to meet your professional community poler. You will board a Mokoro(canoe), the most peaceful way to travel. As you glide silently through the clear, lily-covered waters, look out for the tiny Painted Reed Frogs, antelopes, and an abundance of kingfishers and herons. The day includes a Bush Walk on one of the larger islands where your guide will show you how to track wildlife and explain the medicinal uses of the plants. You might encounter zebras, wildebeests, or even elephants at a distance.
