Day 1

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your Professional driver-guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. The drive offers a gentle introduction to northern Tanzania, passing through local villages and scenic countryside. Depending on arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or enjoy a short orientation about your upcoming safari.

Arusha, located at the base of Mount Meru, serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, providing a comfortable start before the adventure begins. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing time to recover from travel and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

This is a scenic drive through Maasai plains and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, begin a game drive in this park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

The Tarangire River attracts diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards. Birdlife is also Common, making it a rewarding destination for nature lovers.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, allowing uninterrupted exploration. In the afternoon, continue with game drives across open plains and riverine areas, maximizing wildlife sightings.
As the day comes to an end, exit the park and transfer to Karatu / Mto wa Mmbu for overnight. The cooler highland climate and peaceful surroundings provide a relaxing end to your first full safari day.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The drive ascends into the highlands, offering beautiful views of the crater before descending into the vast Serengeti plains. Along the way, enjoy wildlife sightings as the landscape transitions from lush vegetation to open savannah. A picnic lunch is taken en route to maximize exploration time.

Upon entering Serengeti, begin a game drive through the central region, known for its high density of resident wildlife. Today is a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Serengeti National Park.
Early morning game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, often active during the cooler hours.

The region is also home to large herds of grazers, including wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, creating dynamic wildlife interactions. Throughout the day, explore different habitats, from open grasslands to kopjes and river valleys. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the bush, allowing you to remain immersed in the safari experience.

After Bush Lunch, your afternoon continues with more game viewing, increasing chances of witnessing natural behaviors such as hunting or territorial displays. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti wilderness.

Depart early in the morning from Serengeti and proceed with a game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings as the landscape transitions from open plains to the lush highlands.

Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This unique ecosystem supports a high concentration of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. After the game drive, ascend back to the crater rim in the afternoon.

Continue your journey to Karatu for overnight, where you can relax after a full day of safari activities.

After having breakfast, depart Karatu for Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. On arrival, begin a game drive through the lush groundwater forest, home to baboons, monkeys, and diverse birdlife. As the landscape opens, explore the lakeshore and plains where elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras are commonly seen. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos and other water birds, adding vibrant color to the scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive across its varied habitats. Later, exit the park and return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari with a blend of forest, lake, and wildlife experiences.
