Upon arrival at the airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Tulia Spa & Boutique, where you can settle in and relax before beginning your exploration of Arusha.

Your day begins with a guided city tour, taking you through bustling local markets filled with crafts, fresh produce, and unique treasures, including the Maasai Market, where you’ll experience and learn about Maasai culture. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will share engaging local stories and historical insights, adding depth to your journey.

After a day of discovery, return to Summit Lodge to unwind—perhaps with a relaxing spa treatment or a delicious meal in a tranquil setting. As Day 1 comes to an end, you’ll have experienced Arusha’s vibrant markets, cultural richness, and historical charm, setting the stage for your continued adventure across Tanzania’s stunning landscapes and communities.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes and iconic baobab trees. The park is home to Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants, offering incredible opportunities to observe these majestic animals and their social interactions up close.

During your game drive, you’ll explore different areas of the park, including spots known for predator sightings such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras.

Midday, you’ll enjoy a scenic lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can take in beautiful views of the river and its wildlife. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons, adding a lively touch to your break.

The game drive continues until around 5:30 PM, marking the end of your day’s adventure in Tarangire. Afterwards, you’ll proceed to Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater then to Arusha

The Ngorongoro Crater stands out as one of Tanzania’s premier wildlife destinations, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and exceptional wildlife viewing within its natural enclosure. After an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, you’ll begin with a stop at the crater viewpoint to take in its spectacular panoramic views.

From there, you’ll descend into the crater for a game drive, searching for a wide variety of wildlife, including the elusive black rhino one of the most difficult animals to spot, yet occasionally seen in this unique environment where wildlife viewing is remarkably rewarding.

The crater’s rich ecosystem supports a high concentration of animals year-round, meaning there is no need for seasonal migration. This makes it one of the best places in Tanzania to experience diverse wildlife in a single day.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll continue your game drive before ascending in the afternoon and transferring back to Arusha.

Immerse yourself in Tanzania’s natural beauty with a full-day tour to Materuni Waterfalls, perfect for adventure seekers, culture lovers, and active travelers. Your day begins with a scenic hike through lush landscapes to the waterfalls, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool.
You’ll then visit a local farm for an interactive coffee experience, learning about Tanzania’s coffee-making process from bean to cup while engaging with the local community.
After a memorable day of exploration, relaxation, and cultural discovery, we will transfer you to the airport in the evening for your departure.
