Pick-up in Kigali & Transfer to Uganda

After an early breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali and take you on a short visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Afterwards, you begin your scenic drive to Uganda. You'll enjoy Rwanda’s rolling hills as you cross the border and continue to the Bwindi area. Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge for dinner and relaxation, preparing for your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

First Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you transfer to headquarters for the briefing before your first gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced park rangers, you'll venture into the lush rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once located, you spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, you return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa Community to learn about the indigenous forest people’s traditional way of life, culture, and history through authentic cultural experiences. You return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Venture into the ancient rainforest in search of a different habituated gorilla family and enjoy up to one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, begin your scenic drive back to Kigali, enjoying Rwanda’s beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable double gorilla trekking safari.
