After an early breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali and proceed for a short visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Afterwards, begin your scenic drive to Uganda. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Rwanda’s rolling hills as you cross the border and continue to the Bwindi area. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and relaxation, preparing for your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

First Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to headquarters for the briefing before your first gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced park rangers, venture into the lush rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa Community to learn about the indigenous forest people’s traditional way of life, culture, and history through authentic cultural experiences. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Once located, spend one unforgettable hour with the gorillas before returning from the forest. Afterwards, begin your scenic drive back to Kigali, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable double gorilla trekking safari.
