After touching down in the bustling capital of Harare, you are transferred to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay. The remainder of the day offers time to unwind from your journey, enjoy the city’s calm atmosphere, and prepare for the exciting wilderness experience ahead.
The following morning, after breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Mana Pools National Park, where the true safari adventure begins amidst breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Using a small aircraft, you fly into Mana Pools National Park, enjoying breathtaking aerial views of Zimbabwe’s untamed wilderness along the way. Upon landing, you are transferred to your safari lodge, set in the heart of this remarkable destination on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.

Walking to explore and learn about the area, with your armed Professional Guide it is the best way to experience the incredible diversity of animals, insects and flora at Mana Pools. Canoeing is done in 5.5m (18ft) Canadian style canoes, fitted with comfortable seats and cushions. Your day begins at sunrise, when the lake is at its calmest and most productive. After a light breakfast, you’ll head out by boat with an experienced local fishing guide who knows the best spots depending on the season and water conditions.
The early hours are ideal for targeting the lake’s most famous catch—the powerful Tigerfish, known for its speed, sharp teeth, and exhilarating fight.
Around midday, you’ll take a relaxed break—either returning briefly to the island or stopping at a scenic lakeside spot.

After a relaxed morning at Spurwing Island, you’ll depart by boat across the calm waters of Lake Kariba.
The transfer typically takes 20–40 minutes, depending on water conditions
Early departures are especially scenic, with soft morning light over the lake
Along the way, you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and fish eagles
As you approach the mainland, the shoreline of Kariba comes into view, with its small harbor and relaxed lakeside atmosphere.
On arrival in Kariba, you’ll be transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled or charter flight to Victoria Falls.
