Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania and is located slightly off the main safari route. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.

Your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish, and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea, or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening, when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up and depart to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you will enjoy scenic views of Tanzania, hop off the vehicle to view the Ngorongoro Crater and experience the Serengeti plains.

Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Over 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. Today, most visitors come here with one aim alone - to witness millions of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and elands on a mass trek to quench their thirst for water and to eat fresh grass. During this great cyclical movement, these ungulates move around the ecosystem in a seasonal pattern, defined by rainfall and grass nutrients.

Lunch will be offered on the vehicle during the safari. By late afternoon, you will arrive at your designated lodge to rest, dine and cherish the greatest moments you gathered during the safari.
