Arrival at Khwai Concession

Guests will be picked up from Maun Airport by our guide, Fred, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle. Depart from Maun and journey into the wilderness by 4x4. Upon arrival at camp, guests will have time to settle in and enjoy a light refreshment. The afternoon then unfolds with a gentle introduction to the wilderness, including a short, relaxed guided walk around the camp area. As the sun begins to set, guests can unwind with drinks before dinner, taking in the tranquil atmosphere and the sounds of the bush on their first evening.

After breakfast, there is time to relax before embarking on another afternoon game drive viewing or a guided hike on nearby islands. Exploring New Territory

Start the day with an early morning game drive as the bush is most active and wildlife moves through the cool air. Explore deeper into the surrounding wilderness, following tracks and searching for predator activity, herds, and seasonal movements. Midday is spent returning to camp for rest and brunch under the shade of the bush. In the afternoon, head out again for a slow, immersive game drive through a different area, taking time to observe wildlife behaviours and landscapes as the light softens. Return to camp at sunset for dinner around the fire and a peaceful night in the wild.

Final Morning & Departure
