Day 1

Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park

Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park

Early morning pick-up from Mombasa (around 7:00 AM) to start the journey early and avoid traffic.

Drive for about 3–4 hours to Tsavo East National Park with a short stop along the way for refreshments.

Stop at your hotel for check-in, freshen up, and have lunch before proceeding to enter Tsavo East National Park through Voi Gate.

Visit Lugard Falls to see the rushing water flowing through rock formations and enjoy the natural scenery. On a good day you may spot Nile Crocodiles sunning on the rocks or hippos wallowing in deeper pools.

Continue to Mudanda Rock, a long rock ridge where animals often gather around the waterholes below. Here you have an excellent opportunity of spotting large herds of red-dusted Tsavo elephants, Cape Buffalo, zebras, waterbucks since they congregate here to drink water in late afternoon.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2

Tsavo East National Park- Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo East National Park- Tsavo West National Park

Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive to catch predators and active wildlife.

Early morning game drive is perfect for visiting Aruba Dam since there is a high chance of spotting wide variety of wildlife. It is a hotspot for large herds of elephants, waterbucks and buffalo.

Return to your hotel for check out. Leave Tsavo East around mid-morning and drive straight to Tsavo West National Park, enjoying views of changing landscapes along the way

Arrive and check in at your lodge, followed by lunch and short rest

Visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary where you may spot the rare black rhino in a protected area, along with other animals like buffalo, leopards, lions, elephants and spotted hyena.

Continue to Shetani Lava Flow, where you will walk on the dark volcanic rocks and learn about its formation while enjoying the dramatic, rugged scenery

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Tsavo West National Park- Mombasa

Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge in Tsavo West National Park.

Head out for a morning visit to Mzima Springs when the temperatures are cooler and the water is very clear, giving you a great chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and monkeys, while the soft morning light makes it perfect for high-quality photos.

Return to the lodge after the visit for check-out and a short time to freshen up before the journey.

Leave the park and begin your drive back to Mombasa, enjoying the last views of the landscape as your safari comes to an end.

Transfer back to your hotel or drop-off at the airport.
