Pick up and Transfer to Akagera National Park

05:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Early departure from Kigali to reach Akagera National Park by sunrise.

08:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Game drive through the northern savannah, searching for lions, rhinos, elephants, and leopards.

You'll have a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the park's lakes.

A scenic transit from the eastern plains to the volcanic highlands of Musanze.

Late evening, you will check in at Isange Paradise Resort and overnight rest.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Ellen Degeneres Campus

06:30 AM – 07:00 AM: Your driver will drive you to Kinigi Volcanoes National Park headquarters.

07:00 AM – 08:00 AM: Registration, briefing, and traditional Intore dance performances.

08:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Gorilla Trekking. Hike into the forest for a transformative hour with a mountain gorilla family. You will have one hour observing gorillas after spotting them.

After the trek, you will have lunch at the Gorilla Cafe at Ellen DeGeneres Campus. After lunch and a short break, you'll start a self-guided tour of the conservation gallery at Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. You'll explore the interactive exhibits and the 360-degree theater to learn about gorilla conservation history
After the visit, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer back to Kigali, Kigali Genocide Memorial and Kimiromko Local Market Departure

07:30 AM – 10:00 AM: After your breakfast, you'll have a morning transfer from Musanze back to Kigali.

You will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi for a powerful look at Rwanda’s history and resilience.

You will have lunch at a Kigali restaurant with panoramic city views.

After your lunch, you'll have a short city tour including a stop at Kimironko local market for souvenirs or local crafts. Then, you will transfer to your hotel in Kigali or to the airport.
