Day 1

Guests will be picked up from Maun Airport by our guide Fred, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle. Arrive at the edge of the vast Makgadikgadi Pans, where the landscape opens into endless salt flats and sky, before continuing to your remote mobile camp set in a quiet wilderness setting.

Upon arrival, guests settle into spacious tents larger than 3x3 meters, furnished with beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. This will serve as their campsite while in the area, providing a comfortable and relaxed base in the wilderness. Throughout the stay, camp staff take care of all camp chores, including setup, meals, and cleaning, ensuring a seamless safari experience.

In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle guided walk around the camp area before unwinding with drinks as the sun sets. Dinner is served in camp, rounding off your first evening surrounded by the stillness and vastness of the pans.

The day begins early with coffee and a light breakfast as the first light spreads across the salt pans. Guests head out on a morning game drive through the surrounding wilderness, where wildlife such as springbok, ostrich, jackals, and seasonal zebra migrations may be seen moving across the open landscape. The cool morning atmosphere makes this one of the best times to experience the quiet beauty of the pans.

Later in the morning, guests stop for a relaxed brunch in the wild before continuing with a combination of short guided walks and game viewing. Walking across the salt crust offers a unique perspective of the vast, ancient landscape and its remarkable stillness. As afternoon fades, guests return to camp where dinner is prepared over the fire and enjoyed beneath a sky filled with stars.

Day 3

Meerkats, Culture & the Rhythm of Stillness

Breakfast is taken early at camp before the heat builds, as the first light spreads across the pans. The morning includes a guided game drive, with opportunities to see wildlife such as springbok, ostrich, jackals, and, seasonally, zebra and wildebeest moving across the open landscape.

A stop may be made to observe habituated meerkats (seasonal), followed by a visit to nearby communities for a quiet insight into local life shaped by this environment. Brunch is enjoyed either en route or in a scenic open setting.

The afternoon is left at leisure for rest and reflection at camp, before a short return outing in softer light to take in the landscape as the day draws to a close.

The final morning begins gently with breakfast as the first light spreads across the endless white landscape. There is time to sit in the stillness and take in the quiet surroundings before packing up at a relaxed, unhurried pace. Guests then transfer into the Delta for the next stage of their journey.

Upon arrival, guests settle into spacious tents larger than 3x3 meters, furnished with beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom. This will serve as their campsite while in the area, with camp staff taking care of all meals and camp duties for a seamless stay.
Brunch is served on arrival, followed by time to relax and unwind in camp, taking in the peaceful surroundings and settling into the rhythm of the bush.

In the afternoon, you enjoy your first boat safari through the winding channels, taking in the gentle rhythm of the water. As evening approaches, you return to camp for dinner as the Delta settles into dusk, bringing a calm and memorable close to the day.

Breakfast is enjoyed early as the Delta gently stirs around camp, with soft morning mist still resting over the water. You set out by mokoro into narrow, peaceful channels where everything slows down, and the quiet rhythm of paddling carries you through reeds, lilies, and drifting birdlife.

Mid-morning, you pause in a beautiful hidden stretch of the Delta where brunch is set in the wild, surrounded by open sky and the calming stillness of nature.

In the afternoon, you switch to motorboat exploration, gliding through wider channels and deeper sections of NG32. The landscape opens and narrows in gentle shifts of water and light, offering a relaxed and ever-changing perspective of the Delta. Dinner is shared back at camp, as the sounds of the wilderness continue softly into the evening.

The day begins with breakfast as soft light moves across the channels, You then step onto a nearby island, where the experience gently shifts from water to land. On foot, it’s all about slowing down noticing tracks in the sand, small plants along the path, and the quiet ways wildlife moves through the area.

From here, you return to the water as boat journeys drift through winding channels. Along the way, there are moments to watch elephants crossing, antelope at the water’s edge, and the gentle flow of life throughout the Delta.

Brunch is enjoyed in a calm, open setting on land or water depending on the day, before the afternoon continues at an easy, unhurried pace on the water.

As the day winds down, you return to camp for dinner, sharing a relaxed meal as the Delta settles into evening. Afterwards, you gather around the campfire, where the glow of the flames and the sounds of the wilderness create a warm and peaceful close to the day.

Guests are then driven to Maun Airport by our guide, Fred, who will assist with luggage and ensure a smooth and comfortable departure. The journey marks the end of a remarkable safari experience, leaving guests with lasting memories of wildlife encounters, cultural insights, and the contrasting beauty of both Makgadikgadi Pans National Park and the Okavango Delta.
