The journey begins very early in the morning with a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills before crossing into Uganda. Upon arrival at Bwindi, you attend a briefing led by park rangers and are assigned a gorilla family. The trek through the dense rainforest can take a few hours, offering chances to spot birds and other wildlife. Once the gorillas are found, you spend a magical hour observing their behavior up close. After the trek, you begin the return journey to Kigali, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of this rare wildlife encounter.
