Day 1

Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park. Begin with a game drive through groundwater forests inhabited by baboons and elephants. Continue to the open plains and lake area where flamingos and other birds gather. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions resting in acacia trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch, followed by more wildlife viewing before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
