Breakfast at the lodge, then departure in the morning for Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours’ drive) with your expert English-speaking driver-guide.

You will travel in a Toyota Land Cruiser Hardtop 4×4 off-road vehicle, specially equipped for safaris in Tanzania. Comfortable and safe, this vehicle has 7 seats, a panoramic sunroof for better wildlife viewing, and everything you need for an authentic safari experience in the heart of the African savannah.

At lunchtime, you will enjoy a break in the heart of nature, on the heights of the park. A picnic lunch (lunch box) prepared by your lodge will be given to you that morning. It usually includes a sandwich or quiche, a piece of fruit, a snack (savory or sweet), and a drink (water or juice). A practical and balanced option to make the most of your day of exploration.

In the footsteps of giants

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart in the morning for Manyara National Park, accompanied by your English-speaking driver-guide (approximately 2 hours’ drive).

You will enjoy a full day of safari in a 4×4 off-road vehicle, in the heart of a unique ecosystem combining tropical forest, lakes, and savannah. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, majestic elephants, flamingos, and a wide variety of birds.

At noon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch (lunch box) in an exceptional natural setting. A well-deserved break to recharge your batteries before continuing the adventure.

At the end of the safari, you will head to Kogatende airfield for a domestic flight to Arusha (approximately 2 hours). The flight will offer breathtaking views of Tanzania’s majestic landscapes, from endless plains to volcanic reliefs.

Upon arrival in Arusha, check into your hotel (equivalent to a 3-star French hotel or according to your preferences). Enjoy a well-deserved rest, followed by dinner served at the hotel, to end this transition day in peace.
