You will have en-route stopovers for photography, relaxation, and lunch while learning about the local culture and daily life of the communities around the park. Upon arrival in Bwindi in the evening, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the following day.

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and expectations before entering the dense forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, begin your trek through the jungle in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take a few hours depending on the movement of the gorillas, but the experience of standing close to these gentle giants in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. You will spend one magical hour observing their behaviors, photography, and learning about their conservation. After the trek, eat lunch and refreshments before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the evening and relax while enjoying the stunning views of the lake dotted with beautiful islands and surrounding terraced hills.

Enjoy peaceful views, birdlife, and stories about the cultural history of the lake as you explore its surroundings. If time allows, you will also have a chance to visit nearby local communities to experience their way of life, traditional farming, crafts, and warm hospitality, offering a deeper cultural connection to the region.
After the boat experience, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out before starting your journey back to Rwanda. Cross the border and continue to Volcanoes National Park, arriving in the evening. Check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest as you prepare for the exciting golden monkey tracking experience the following day.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for a briefing before heading into the bamboo forests for golden monkey trekking. Guided by experienced rangers, you will hike through the scenic slopes of the Virunga Mountains in search of these playful and endangered primates. Once located, spend time observing their energetic movements, feeding habits, and social behavior while taking photos and enjoying the unique experience in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the starting point and meet your driver for the transfer back to Kigali. Enjoy en-route views of the rolling hills and volcanic landscapes as you reflect on your safari adventure. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day journey.
