After an early breakfast in your comfort lodge, you will drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This lovely park has the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National Park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. Post the game drive, you will head to accommodation for relaxation and where a delicious dinner and overnight awaits you. Accommodation will be in Karatu.

Day 2
Karatu to Ndutu

Stunned by the previous days spotting of the migration, today you get a chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle. The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Heading out for a full day game drive after breakfast, today you will be following the migration depending on its location in either NCA or Serengeti. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life take its course will be an unforgettable experience etched for life. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening. You will now head towards your accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for the coming day.

Day 3

The Ndutu region, situated in the Southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro conservation area, a sublime landscape of the southern Serengeti eco-system. The Ndutu calving season is pretty special! Usually, around December each year the herds start congregating in the area with the peak of the calving season being from January to March. In the backdrop, you'll spot zebra and gazelle grazing in the sprawling grasslands too. Lake Ndutu, alkaline like most of the other Rift Valley Lakes, is however a viable source of water and is frequented by a wide array of the myriad wildlife here inhabiting. We arrive in time for a delectable lunch at the picnic site in Ndutu Area, and, with appetites sated, we undertake our afternoon game drive in the Ndutu region. A picnic lunch will be done during the daylong game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night's rest in your accommodation at the central Serengeti.

Day 4

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti as you make your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive offers breath-taking views of the savannahs and occasional wildlife encounters. By evening, you’ll reach the crater rim, where your lodge or campsite provides stunning vistas of the world’s largest unbroken caldera. The crater rim is an enchanting place, and the cool highland climate offers a refreshing change. Rest well in preparation for an unforgettable crater exploration.

You will wake up early morning, having your breakfast in the morning before starting to depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area ready to descend the Crater for a game drive, the 600 m deep caldera you will descend the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometres of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid while depart to Arusha for Dinner and overnight Stay or onward flight back home.
