Wild to Farm Experience

You will be picked-up from your hotel or the airport for an exciting morning game drive at Nairobi National Park at 6am to enjoy the scenic wildlife views in this unique urban park setting. At 10:00 am you will head to a lush tea and coffee farm to discover the farm’s rich history, followed by an interactive experience where you’ll pick, pulp, roast, and taste your own tea or coffee in the afternoon, relax with a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, enjoying the fresh, cool breeze away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Arrive in Nyeri for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the serene beauty of the region.

Nyeri Coffee & Tea Plantation Tour & Rural Village Visit

Enjoy breakfast and later have a guided tour of a large-scale coffee plantation, exploring modern farming techniques and processing facilities. You will then visit a traditional tea estate to see how tea is cultivated and processed; learn about different tea varieties. After lunch in a farmstead, you will visit a nearby rural village to experience local farming practices and community life. Participate in traditional farming activities or craft demonstrations led by villagers. Return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

You will start the day by visiting an eco-friendly farm practicing sustainable agriculture composting, organic farming, and permaculture, participating in activities like planting, watering, or building eco-friendly structures. Picnic lunch in the farm’s scenic setting after which you will take a nature walk or nature photography session around the farm with Interactive workshop on organic farming and eco-tourism benefits.

Return to Nairobi and be dropped at the airport or your accommodation.
