Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative for a safari briefing before departing toward the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy scenic views along the way with a stop at the viewpoint, then continue via Narok toward Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the famous “Serengeti plains.”

Arrive in time for lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve on game drives, with an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise for a spectacular aerial view of the plains. You may enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to the lodge for lunch.

The Mara is rich in wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, leopards, and occasional rhinos. Between July and September, the reserve hosts the dramatic wildebeest migration, attracting predators and large herds in abundance. Birdlife is also diverse, with colorful bee-eaters commonly seen.

The area is also home to the Maasai people, who may be seen around the park boundaries. Return in the evening to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at Enkorok Mara Camp, enjoy an early morning game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of wildlife you may have missed earlier.

The afternoon is at leisure, or you may opt for an additional cultural visit to a Maasai village (at extra cost), where you’ll learn about the Maa-speaking community, their traditions, daily life, and enjoy traditional dances and cultural demonstrations. You may take a picnic lunch or dine at the lodge. Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at camp.

Masai Mara-Nairobi

After breakfast at Enkorok Mara Camp, depart for Nairobi with a game drive en route through Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Stop at Narok for a hot lunch and optional shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs. Continue your journey to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your city hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.
