Arrival at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo where you will be welcomed by your guide or a representative from our team and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax after your international flight or enjoy a short introduction to the Malagasy capital, a lively city built across a series of hills and surrounded by rice terraces.

Day 2

Tana-Andasibe National Park

Tana-Andasibe National Park

After breakfast, departure by road towards Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, located in Madagascar’s eastern rainforest region. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours through scenic highland landscapes, traditional villages, waterfalls, and eucalyptus forests before reaching the lush tropical rainforest of Andasibe.

Upon arrival and check-in at your lodge, an afternoon visit of the Analamazaotra Special Reserve will introduce you to Madagascar’s unique rainforest ecosystem. The reserve is especially famous for the Indri Indri, the largest living lemur species, known for its haunting calls echoing through the forest.

In the evening, a guided nocturnal walk offers the opportunity to discover Madagascar’s fascinating nocturnal wildlife including mouse lemurs, leaf-tailed geckos, frogs, and sleeping chameleons hidden among the vegetation.

Day 3

Andasibe National Park

Andasibe National Park

Today is fully dedicated to the exploration of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, one of Madagascar’s most famous wildlife destinations.

Accompanied by a specialist local guide, you will walk through the dense rainforest searching for lemurs including Indri Indri, common brown lemurs, bamboo lemurs, and possibly diademed sifakas. The forest is also exceptionally rich in endemic birds, reptiles, amphibians, orchids, and medicinal plants.

The rainforest atmosphere, giant tree ferns, moss-covered trees, and constant sounds of wildlife make Andasibe one of the most rewarding nature experiences in Madagascar.

The afternoon is free to relax at the lodge or enjoy optional activities nearby.

Day 4

Andasibe-Tana

After breakfast, departure for a visit to Maromizaha Reserve, a remarkable primary rainforest reserve located close to Andasibe. Less visited than the main national park, Maromizaha offers a more intimate and authentic rainforest experience with outstanding biodiversity.

The reserve is highly appreciated by wildlife enthusiasts and researchers due to its excellent concentration of endemic species. During your guided walk, you may encounter several species of lemurs, endemic birds, frogs, and reptiles while exploring pristine rainforest crossed by streams and covered with lush vegetation.

After the visit and lunch, departure by road back to Antananarivo.

Fly to Antsiranana-Montagne d'Ambre

Early transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Antsiranana (Diego Suarez), located in the far north of Madagascar. Upon arrival, departure directly towards Montagne d’Ambre National Park.

This beautiful volcanic rainforest park is known for its cool climate, waterfalls, crater lakes, and exceptional biodiversity. During your guided walk through the rainforest, you may encounter crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs, colorful chameleons, geckos, endemic birds, and many unique plant species.

The dense tropical forest and volcanic scenery provide a striking contrast to the dry landscapes of northern Madagascar surrounding the massif.

Driving time: approximately 1.5 hours from the airport.

Day 6

Montagne d'Ambre -Ankarana

Montagne d'Ambre -Ankarana

After breakfast, continuation of your exploration of Montagne d’Ambre National Park with additional wildlife observation and rainforest walks.

Later in the day, departure south towards Ankarana National Park. On the way, stop at the spectacular Tsingy Rouge, a fascinating geological site formed by erosion and famous for its impressive red sandstone pinnacles and unique landscape.

The journey then continues through northern Madagascar’s dry landscapes towards Ankarana.

Driving time: approximately 6–7 hours including visits and stops.

The park is famous for its tsingy formations — dramatic limestone pinnacles creating a labyrinth of sharp rocks, caves, canyons, underground rivers, and dry forests. Guided hikes through the reserve offer opportunities to discover crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs, bats, reptiles, and numerous endemic birds.

Several viewpoints and suspension bridges provide breathtaking panoramic scenery over the limestone massif and surrounding forest.

The drive passes through dry forests, cocoa plantations, ylang-ylang plantations, and tropical landscapes typical of the Sambirano region. Upon arrival at Ankify, transfer by speedboat to Nosy Be.

Nosy Be is Madagascar’s most famous island destination, known for its tropical beaches, turquoise waters, coral reefs, and relaxed atmosphere.
