After breakfast, you will depart with a picnic lunch and drive into the northern sector of the Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive. This region is famous for the Great Migration between July and September, when wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River en route to the Masai Mara National Reserve, often encountering crocodiles in the process. The area is also rich in wildlife including big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and occasionally endangered black rhinos. After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing before your gorilla trekking experience. The trek is unpredictable in duration depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas, and walking sticks will be provided by the park rangers. Once you locate a gorilla family, you will spend up to one hour with them for conservation purposes. After the trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, where you will relax by the lakeside upon arrival.
