Leave the coast behind and travel inland towards Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time to settle into your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch.
Later in the day, head into the park for your safari experience through the rugged wilderness and wide open savannah. Watch for elephants coated in Tsavo’s red soil, and possibly lions, antelopes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife along the way. As the sun sets over the landscape, return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening in the wild.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park as the wildlife becomes active in the cooler hours. After breakfast, continue your safari journey towards Tsavo West National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way as the scenery changes from open plains to volcanic hills and bushland.
Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Visit scenic areas of the park and look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and other wildlife before returning for dinner and overnight stay in Salt Lick Safari Lodge. The lodge offers exceptional views of floodlit waterholes from your room or the observation deck.

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park, offering another chance to spot wildlife in the fresh morning light.
After breakfast, check out and begin the journey back to the Kenyan coast, passing through scenic landscapes along the way. Depending on wildlife movement, there may be more sightings en route before exiting the park. Arrive later in the day with drop-off at your hotel in Diani Beach, Mombasa, or at the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
