Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Naional Park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Entebbe or Kampala and begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, traditional villages, terraced farmlands, and the Equator crossing point where you can stop for photos and refreshments.

You will have lunch en route before continuing through the breathtaking landscapes of western Uganda to Bwindi Forest. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Canoe Ride

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before starting the gorilla trekking adventure in the dense rainforest of Bwindi.
The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact.
After the trekking experience, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” because of its spectacular scenery. Arrive in the evening and relax at the lakeside lodge while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of the islands and terraced hills.

After breakfast at Lake Bunyonyi, begin the scenic drive back to Entebbe or Kampala with unforgettable memories of the mountain gorilla experience. Enjoy lunch en route and a stop at the Equator crossing for photography and experiments. Arrive in the evening and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Evening flights are recommended.
