Day 1

After breakfast at the hotel in Dar es Salaam, you'll be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma (Depend on the flight time at particular day). Upon arrival, you'll head to you will proceed to Kibirizi Port to board a boat across Lake Tanganyika to Gombe National Park. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a hot lunch at the rest house, before heading out on your first chimpanzee & Gorilla trekking experience, guided by park rangers through the lush forest.
In the evening, you'll return for dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodations, deep in the heart of chimpanzee country.
Optional activity:
On arrival at Kigoma Airport, you will be transferred to Ujiji village, where you will visit Dr. Livingstone's memorial for cultural experience and the history of the slave trade.

Day 2
Full Chimpanzee Trekking Experiance
Full Chimpanzee Trekking Experiance
After an early breakfast, you will set out for an extraordinary full-day chimpanzee trekking experience in the breathtaking forests of Gombe National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will hike through lush valleys and ancient rainforest trails in search of the park’s famous wild chimpanzees, observing their fascinating behavior in their natural habitat. The forest is alive with birdsong, butterflies and stunning scenery, making every moment of the trek truly unforgettable.
During the adventure, you will also visit the beautiful Mkenge Waterfall, hidden deep within the forest, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing with more chimpanzee tracking and exploration.
In the evening, return for dinner and an overnight stay at the beautiful Kasekele Luxury Campsite near the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

After an early breakfast, you'll embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee & gorilla trekking adventure through the lush valleys and ancient forest trails of Gombe. Immerse yourself in the sounds and sights of the wild as you explore different valleys in search of our closest relatives, the playful and intelligent chimpanzees. Along the way, you'll enjoy a scenic hike to the beautiful Mkenge Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled deep within the forest.
By midday, you'll return to camp for a delicious lunch and a chance to relax. In the late afternoon, you'll pack up and transfer back to Kigoma town, where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at your accommodation, you will be transferred to Kigoma Airport for your scenic flight to Arusha via Dar es Salaam. As your unforgettable chimpanzee safari adventure comes to an end, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s spectacular landscapes, from the shores of Lake Tanganyika to the vast wilderness below.
Upon arrival in Arusha, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you either to your hotel or to the airport for your onward arrangements.
