Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will receive a warm Tanzanian welcome from your dedicated Nature in Spirit driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey. From the airport, enjoy a short and comfortable transfer of less than 15 minutes to Airport Planet Lodge, allowing you to rest soon after your international flight.
If weather conditions allow, you may already catch a beautiful first glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance, a magical introduction to Tanzania. Along the way, you will also experience the vibrant rhythm of local life, from small villages to everyday roadside scenes that offer an authentic first impression of the destination.
Upon arrival at the lodge, the rest of the evening is yours to unwind, recharge, and settle into the peaceful surroundings before your safari adventure begins. Dinner and overnight at Airport Planet Lodge.

Day 2
Fly to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scenic domestic flight to Serengeti National Park. The flight takes approximately one hour and is one of the best ways to maximize your safari experience, avoiding long driving hours while offering breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley, Ngorongoro Highlands, and the endless Serengeti plains. Upon landing at around 09:00 AM, your safari begins immediately as your professional guide welcomes you for your first game drive in one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Covering nearly 14,763km², the Serengeti is famous for its vast open plains, exceptional predator sightings, and the Great Migration. Enjoy a freshly prepared hot lunch at your camp before continuing with an afternoon game drive extending until sunset, the perfect time to witness wildlife at its most active and photograph the golden Serengeti landscapes.

Day 3

Today begins with an early morning departure from camp at 06:00 AM sharp, the best time to experience the magic of Serengeti National Park at its most active. During the cool morning hours, predators are still on the move, big cats are often seen hunting or interacting, and the soft golden light creates exceptional photography conditions. With fewer vehicles in the bush, this is also the perfect moment to enjoy the Serengeti in a more exclusive and peaceful atmosphere. Your morning safari extends until around 11:30 AM and includes a memorable bush breakfast experience surrounded by the endless plains and wildlife sounds of Africa. After returning to camp for a hot lunch and short refresher, you will head out again at around 03:00 PM for another exciting game drive. As the temperatures cool once more, wildlife activity increases, creating fantastic opportunities for sightings before ending the day with a beautiful sundowner experience as the sun sets over the Serengeti plains.

Today we recommend departing your camp latest at 07:00 AM to make the most of your time inside the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending over 600 meters into this ancient volcanic caldera feels like entering a natural wildlife sanctuary, home to one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. The crater offers excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Thanks to the permanent water sources and rich grazing grounds, wildlife viewing here is exceptional throughout the year. Enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery on the crater floor before continuing your afternoon game drive. At around 05:00 PM, you will ascend the crater and head to your lodge, where beautiful gardens, spacious elegant rooms, attentive service, and a peaceful atmosphere offer the perfect setting to relax after an unforgettable safari day.

At around 10:00 AM, you will begin your drive back to Arusha, enjoying scenic views and local life along the way. Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch before visiting the inspiring Shanga Workshop, a remarkable social enterprise that employs and empowers people with disabilities through the creation of beautiful handmade jewelry, glassware, textiles, and home décor crafted from recycled materials. The experience offers a meaningful cultural connection and a chance to support the local community while discovering authentic Tanzanian artistry. Depending on your international flight schedule, you will later be transferred to the airport for your journey back home, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and warm hospitality.
