Into the Wild; Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport. The drive south winds through Kenya's highlands before descending the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpment - stop here, breathe it in, and take the first photograph of many.
By 1:00 PM you arrive at Mara Hilltop. Step out of the vehicle and the view stops you in your tracks - 180 degrees of golden Masai Mara savannah stretching to the horizon, with wildlife already visible on the plains below. Check in to your luxury tented suite and enjoy a full lunch on the terrace.
At 3:30 PM your private game drive begins. Lions emerge in the golden afternoon light, elephants cross the open plains, and the wildebeest herds gather across the savannah as the Great Migration builds momentum all around you.
Return to the hilltop as the sun sets over the Mara in a blaze of amber and gold. Dinner under the African stars and overnight at Mara Hilltop.

By 6:45 AM your private game drive is already deep in the reserve as the Mara awakens around you. Lion prides finish their night hunts, cheetah mothers lead their cubs across the dew-covered plains, and leopards disappear into the riverine woodland as golden light floods the savannah.
Your expert guide knows exactly where the wildebeest are moving. At the Mara River, thousands of animals nervously gather at the banks sensing the crocodiles below, yet driven by an ancient instinct that cannot be stopped. When the herd commits and plunges into the river, the ground shakes. This is one of the most powerful wildlife moments on earth, and your front-row seat is waiting.
A gourmet picnic lunch is served in the bush as zebras graze beside you.
The afternoon drive continues through the Mara's legendary game corridors until early evening. Return to Mara Hilltop for sundowners on the terrace, dinner, and one more unforgettable night.

The morning arrives slowly. Birdsong fills the air, the savannah glows with early light, and somewhere out on the plains the Mara is already alive with movement.
Enjoy a full leisurely breakfast at Mara Hilltop — one last morning with that extraordinary view, a final cup of coffee on the terrace with the African bush spread before you.
Then it is time. Check out, take a long last look across the plains, and board your private vehicle for the scenic drive back to Nairobi. The Great Rift Valley escarpment offers one final sweeping farewell view before the city comes back into focus.
Stop for lunch at a restaurant en route before arriving in Nairobi by mid-afternoon, dropped off at your hotel or JKIA for your onward journey.
